New Baseband (video up to 10 MHz) Optical Receiver from Tekmedia optical line. This new product has been developed to convert coaxial cable distribution for video signal (cameras, videosurveillance,  genlocks, public address monitors) to optical fiber.

It’s an easy to use, plug&play, mediaconverter that convert a standard BNC line input (75 ohm 1 Vpp) to a multimode optical fiber.

The link is made by two unit, transmitter and receiver, housed in a small  case, prefectly suited to be directly connected at camera output.

Many other application are possible with such copper to fiber conversion!
